Context

Global stock market capitalization reaches $166 trillion in 2026, including $1.2 trillion for Africa. The stock market is a marketplace where companies and states raise funds from investors, institutional or individual. It already exists in French-speaking Africa, with the BVMAC in Central Africa and the BRVM in West Africa.

2

Problem

In French-speaking Africa, financial literacy isn't taught in school or university, and few people know how to get started. The BVMAC isn't yet accessible from $10, and the BRVM remains harder to access.

3

Solution

Partners that let you get started from $10, wherever you are, on regulated markets, with an app, low fees, and investment ideas. Three tools: stocks (capital gains and dividends), bonds (you lend to a state or a company and receive coupons), and ETFs (a basket of stocks that spreads the risk, for example the Nasdaq or the CAC 40).

Amazon, listed since 1997

About 30% annualized return since its IPO. Illustrates the power of compound interest.

Sonatel, listed on the BRVM since 1998

About 5.7% in dividends per year for 20 years, while keeping its capital. Illustrates dividends.

Stocks, bonds, and ETFs can lose value. You may lose all or part of the capital invested. The Amazon and Sonatel examples are past performance.
